In our annual trips I like to spend September in Colorado. Denver usually is our first stop, where we park at the Westminster Elks Lodge. It has over 50 RV sites with hookups. High on our to do list is a visit with cousin Birchie in her beautiful retirement facility in the southern suburb of Centennial. Our visit this year coincided with her younger brother Richard and wife Nancy visiting her from their home in New Hampshire. All of us were able to get together on Sept. 5 for dinner. Not pictured are Birchie’s daughter Sandy and granddaughter, plus Jo.

Richard and me, caught using my cell phone.
Nancy Birch and her sister, with whom Richard and Nancy stay while in the Denver area.
And here are the three of us cousins. Our common ancestor is William B. Strong, our great grandfather.
